This is just to much fun for one season!
Well the raiders got whipped up again this week. As the title suggests this just keeps getting better and better ever week. From Randy Moss not playing cause the rest of the team does not care to the weekly QB offering the raiders make to the Sack leaders in the NFL. It really is to much fun! Then again "there's a whole lot of things I aint never done but I aint never had to much fun"! We can thank commander cody and the lost planet airmen for that little gem.
I thought it might be fun to accumulate some other points of view this week so I have gather a little bit of fodder from around the internet to add to our entertainment this week.
Lets Start with last week....This is from the AP NFL wire.
Most of the NFL thought Walt Harris
was washed up after last season.
Harris' three interceptions in Sunday's 34-20 victory over the
Oakland Raiders were his biggest on-field contribution yet in the
11-year pro's stellar comeback season. He was cut loose by the
Washington Redskins last March, but has rejuvenate his career as a
leader of the 49ers' young defense.
"It was one of those games I've always dreamed of bringing
about," Harris said. "I've never had three interceptions at any
level -- pro, college, high school or the peewee league. ... Once
you get the first one, it's in your mind. You're just waiting on
the ball to come in your area after that."
The 49ers had no interceptions this season before getting four
against Andrew Walter and Marques Tuiasosopo, the Raiders'
struggling quarterbacks.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut against the Raiders!
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA On yea JUST SUCK BABY!
From Fox
The Raiders added another awful week to their streak, struggling on offense and getting beaten physically on defense. They were finished off by another of the boneheaded mistakes that have occurred constantly during their second 0-4 start since 1964.
With 10 1/2 minutes to play, LaMont Jordan dropped a lateral pass from Andrew Walter and then stood watching as rookie lineman Melvin Oliver returned the free ball 12 yards for the score, putting San Francisco up 31-13.
"Yes, I'm disappointed. No, I did not expect to be at this particular point in the season," said Raiders coach Art Shell. "I expected that we'd be much better and competing within our division. We're not doing that right now."
That Art Shell is right on top of things don't you think... HA HA HA
"I don't really want to single players out," Moss said. "I
mean, I don't really know what the feeling is. But I know the
feeling is bad, so that's saying no one cares about what's going on
around here."
Randy here's a clue the feeling is........RAIDERS SUCK!
"We're 0-4 and we get to go to Denver. That's no easy shake,"
defensive tackle Warren Sapp said. "I've been in worse situations.
We were 1-7 in (Tampa Bay coach Tony) Dungy's first year
Only thing warren shakes is that fat ass belly around! Oh I can't take it any more!
Hey this should be fun lets see what folks said in the preseason......
From sept 6th
OAKLAND, Calif. -- In case the Hall of Fame bust, Super Bowl
rings and winning record as a coach weren't enough to earn Art
Shell the respect from his Oakland Raiders players, he got their
attention another way.
Unhappy with an afternoon practice during two-a-days at training
camp last month, Shell called the Raiders to the center of the
field, chewed them out and sent them home early.
"That was something that hadn't happened to too many of us,"
defensive tackle Warren Sapp said. "It's something we all took
note of. Because if it's not pleasing to his eyes, it's definitely
not what we want to do. We put it on ourselves that we weren't
going to put him in that position again when he was unpleased with
what we were doing."
Shell's commanding presence is the biggest difference around the
Raiders this season. The deep respect the players talk about having
for Shell is in contrast to the way they spoke about the previous
two coaches, Norv Turner and Bill Callahan. That respect is what
owner Al Davis believes the team needs to end a string of three
losing seasons.
Wow just imagine how they would play if they didn't like Art....
Ok I can only take so much over and out till next week when the Raiders add to the Saga .......
